Threat Preparedness 2026 - Cybersecurity and AI Awareness

Event Description: Please join the WVPCA and Adam Kehler of CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. For this hands-on, one-day, on-site Cybersecurity training designed to prepare your health center staff to better prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats, including those driven by emerging AI technologies. 

Objectives and Goals: 

  • Deliver an interactive, scenario-based workshop tailored to health center environments that strengthens participant confidence in identifying Cybersecurity and AI-related threats.

  • Learn to apply practical mitigation strategies and follow appropriate reporting protocols aligned with HIPAA Security Rule requirements, NIST-based practices, and HHS 405(d) guidance, with outcomes measured through post-workshop surveys and facilitator evaluations.

Event Deliverables: CGI will provide all seminar participants with an electronic copy of all materials used in the training, which will include but is not limited to a training playbook, resource toolkit, ransomware playbook, breach response checklist, and other training materials and resources not yet specified. 

Event Date, Time, and Location: This training will take place on Thursday, May 28th at the TC Energy Auditorium located at 1700 MacCorkle Avenue SE, Charleston, WV 25314 from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
