Advocacy

Become An Advocate Button LinkHealth Centers are greatly impacted by both federal and state policy. Federal policy affects health center funding, operations and management and reimbursement from Medicare and Medicaid are critical to the financial viability of health centers.

The WVPCA works collaboratively with multiple state organizations to guide the development of state-driven policies and initiatives to improve health outcomes and achieve the triple aim.

The WVPCA serves as the conduit to share and exchange information regarding policy changes at all levels.  The WVPCA advocates on behalf of the health centers at the state and national level, informing policy and contributing to the body of knowledge related to the positive effect that health centers have on the primary care delivery system.

The WVPCA would like to invite YOU to become part of West Virginia's Community Health Center Advocacy Network! Click here to join advocates in West Virginia and across the nation to support the mission and vision of Community Health Centers.
