Leadership

A woman holding a tablet leads a presentation in front of an audience seated indoors. The scene is framed within a yellow circular border.

There is clear evidence that leadership engagement and focus drives improvement in healthcare quality.

Leaders at all levels within Health Centers are focused on achieving the triple aim of improving the patient experience of care, improving the health of populations, and reducing the overall cost of care.

Training programs and peer-to-peer learning opportunities are continuously available through the WVPCA to meet leadership development needs at all levels. It is critical that health centers have a strong and high performing leadership team that includes administrative, operations, clinical, and financial representation.

Developing strong leaders can also serve as a tool to strengthen job satisfaction and staff retention.

The WVPCA is committed to providing health center staff with the opportunity to develop or enhance their leadership skills.
