From Enabled to Empowered: How to Lead with Intention, Boundaries, and Impact

Event Overview: Too often, well-meaning leaders end up enabling their teams instead of empowering them—creating dependency instead of growth. In this virtual session, we’ll explore the critical difference between empowering and enabling. You’ll learn how to set clear expectations, foster accountability, and support your team in developing confidence and competence. Through practical strategies and a compelling case study, discover how to stop “rescuing” and start leading in a way that cultivates independence and initiative.

Objectives and Goals:

1. Differentiate between enabling and empowering behaviors in leadership and identify their impact on team accountability, confidence, and performance.
2. Apply three practical strategies to shift from rescuing employees to fostering independent problem-solving and personal growth.
