Event Overview:
West Virginia Primary Care Association (WVPCA), in partnership with BecomeMore Group, is pleased to bring you an emerging leader certificate program that will enable Health Center leaders to boost their leadership skills while attracting and retaining talent. The program will consist of 5 workshops that will be held over the course of 5 months, with each participant also receiving monthly 1:1 coaching sessions.
This is an experiential learning program that
Involves learners
Increases retention up to as much as 90%
Connects knowledge & learning to real-world situations
Expands reasoning and problem-solving skills through conversation & reflection
Creates peer networks & develops support systems
Develops confidence & provides intrinsic motivation as participants discover they CAN find answers and solutions that WILL work
Objectives:
Understand interconnectedness and how changes in one area impacts others (Systems Thinking)
Challenge assumptions and beliefs to foster innovation and adaptability (Mental Models)
Collaborate to solve problems and create new knowledge together (Team Learning)
Commit to lifelong learning (Personal Mastery).
Event Dates and Times: Kickoff Session: Tuesday, September 15 (half-day afternoon) and Wednesday, September 16 (full day) at the WVPCA CHC Leadership Forum at Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, WV. Additional virtual sessions and graduation (in-person) dates will be scheduled and announced later. Participants will register individually for their one-on-one coaching sessions.
Target Audience: CHC Emerging Leaders
Cost: This workshop is being offered at a discounted fee of $250/per person. This workshop is usually $4,000/per person.
