2026 Annual CHC Leadership Forum

WVPCA Annual Community Health Center Leadership Forum

"The Road Forward: Advancing Healthcare Together"

September 13th-16th
Stonewall Resort - Roanaoke, West Virginia

Event Overview: The West Virginia Primary Care Association (WVPCA) is pleased to invite you to our Annual Community Health Center (CHC) Leadership Forum, taking place September 13–16 at Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, West Virginia.

As Community Health Centers continue to navigate an evolving healthcare landscape, this year's Leadership Forum offers an opportunity to come together, share insights, and shape the future of healthcare in West Virginia. Throughout the forum, we'll explore today's challenges while identifying strategies to drive innovation, strengthen operational excellence, and foster meaningful engagement across our organizations.

Together, we'll discuss approaches to sustaining our healthcare system, enhancing collaboration across our network, and leveraging our collective voice to improve the health and well-being of the more than 570,000 patients served by Community Health Centers throughout the Mountain State.

This year's Forum will focus on a wide range of timely and relevant topics, including updates from our national and state partners; changes in the pharmacy landscape (including pharmacy policy updates, the 340B Program, and the impact on health centers), and leadership and organizational change. Leadership and change sessions will explore leading through change with confidence, building resilient teams and cultures, change management, and effective execution.

We'll also take a deep dive into operations and finance, covering financial sustainability, operational excellence, revenue optimization, and strategic planning. Additional sessions will focus on value-based care and innovation, including advancing value-based care initiatives, leveraging Azara DRVS and other data-driven tools to improve outcomes, and implementing quality improvement and population health strategies.

Patient care and engagement will also be a key focus, with discussions centered on patient empowerment, integrated care in action, innovative models of care, and strategies to strengthen patient engagement and enhance the overall care experience.

On Tuesday night, we will also be celebrating the 60th anniversary of Community Health Centers with a themed party, so be sure to bring your best 60s themed outfit and enjoy the celebration with us, which will feature dancing, food, and more.

We have a robust agenda, so gather your teams and get ready for two and a half days full of networking, learning and collaboration!
