Event Overview: Please join the West Virginia Primary Care Association and National Training and Technical Assistance Partners (NTTAP) on Clinical Workforce Development at Community Health Center, Inc. (CHCI) for a 60-minute interactive training on enhancing HIV prevention efforts at your health centers. Led by the experts of the Center for Key Populations at CHCI, this training is designed to equip health center staff with the knowledge, tools, and practical guidance to strengthen their HIV prevention programs. This includes creating a population-based approach to HIV prevention, implementation strategies, and approaches to HIV/STI screening. This webinar will also connect participants to free resources developed by the NTTAP on Clinical Workforce Development.
Objectives and Goals: Through this 60-minute virtual training, participants will be able to:
1. Understand HIV incidence and prevalence statistics in West Virginia and nationally.
2. Consider implementation strategies and approaches to HIV/STI screenings to address and reduce stigma in healthcare settings.
3. Identify key challenges and opportunities to improve HIV prevention efforts in their health
