Scot Mitchell serves as Director of Value-Based & Managed Care Services, where he helps lead the Partnership for Healthier Communities Clinically Integrated Network, a health center-led collaborative designed to expand value-based care across the communities served by West Virginia’s community health centers.

Scot also coordinates the work of the Payment Reform Work Group, supporting the Board in developing payment strategies that align with the evolving healthcare environment and advance care models responsive to the needs of the populations West Virginia CHCs serve.

Scot brings more than 30 years of senior healthcare leadership experience, having served as CEO of hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and a multi-facility hospital network. A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, he is passionate about advancing care models that improve outcomes, strengthen communities, and support providers in delivering patient-directed services. Scot holds a Master of Health Services Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
