2024 WVPCA School Based Health Conference

Join the West Virginia Primary Care Association (WVPCA) for its second annual School-Based Health Conference. This year's theme, “Where Community and Health Connect: Serving the Whole Child”, will explore the different facets of school, and healthcare, and how community makes SBHCs the center of positive change. From tobacco and vaping to oral health and mobile healthcare, this year's conference is packed with current topics and opportunities to look to the future -  all in pursuit of service to the whole child. This year we'll be convening on June 13, 2024, at the Charleston Civic Center right in the heart of the city.

This conference is an opportunity to connect with fellow school-based healthcare professionals and community health center leadership from across the state. More than 235 West Virginia school-based health centers deliver integrated, patient-centered care, screening for conditions like obesity and depression, and offering preventive services—all with a special focus on vulnerable children and adolescents.
