The West Virginia Primary Care Association (WVPCA) is pleased to offer a two-day FQHC Billing and Coding Workshop for Community Health Center (CHC) staff and providers. This workshop will be held at the Holiday Inn and Suites (400 Second Ave in South Charleston, WV). Shellie Sulzberger, LPN, CPC, ICDCT-CM is the Co-founder of Coding & Compliance Initiatives and will present this workshop. More information about Shellie is available here

This training is targeted to CHC Billing and Coding staff and Providers. 

Topics to be discusses include:

  • FQHC billing responsibilities
  • Qualified providers and covered services
  • Coding for preventive, chronic and transitional care
  • Medicare
  • West Virginia Medicaid
  • What medical documentation facilitates
  • Key components of E/M services
  • Learning lab
In preparation for the workshop, we ask that you do the following:
  • Please submit your questions for an interactive Q/A Session at the end of both days to Debra Boyd at debra.boyd@wvpca.org
  • Please bring CPT and ICD-10 Coding Books.

Hotel Accommodations: The WVPCA has a room block reserved with the Holiday Inn & Suites (South Charleston). To access the group block, call 304.744.4641 and reference Group Code PCA. The group rate is $99.00. To ensure access to this room block, make reservations by May 5, 2019.

Cancellation Policy: Any refund requests before 5/6/19 will be subject to a $25.00 processing fee. No refund will be issued after that date. Please contact Pam Moore or 304.346.0032 for any cancellations. Registrants who cancel will not receive training materials. Substitutions are allowed up to three (3) days prior to the event. Please be sure to provide email information if a substitution is requested.
