The West Virginia Primary Care Association (WVPCA), in conjunction with Jennifer Calohan of CURIS Consulting, is hosting the final of six monthly Learning Collaborative Webinars. This webinar, scheduled for Tuesday, March 26, will continue the discussion that began in February about productivity and empanelment.
In the rapidly changing landscape of team-based care and value-based reimbursement models - it is essential that we monitor and measure our productivity and performance accordingly. This presentation will walk attendees through the definitions of PPS and VBC - how they differ and how they jointly shape the requirements for today's health center. The presentation will also outline examples of team based and value-driven metrics to measure productivity beyond simply tracking number of patients or number of encounters. Lastly, the presentation will define and discuss the importance of right sized provider empanelment as a strategy toward productivity and continuity of care in the patient-centered medical home.
