EVENT OVERVIEW: The WVPCA and Online Business Systems will host five (5) virtual training webinars. The first webinar will be Incident Response Workshop to train Participating Health Centers (PHCs) on the concepts of security incident response , and establish a framework to help PHCs develop threat-specific playbooks to streamline incident response withing their organizations. The virtual Incident Response Workshop will be followed by a series of four virtual threat-based webinars that will build off the workshop and help PHCs further prepare response to the most common threats to the healthcare industry. Topics for the four threat-based webincars will focus on Social Engineering, Ransomware, Loss of Equipment, and Attack on Internet.
OBJECTIVES AND GOALS: Health Centers across our country are under constant cybersecurity threat. The Cyber Security training series will PHCs to develop a comprehensive Incident Response Plan (IRP); which is crucial to helping health centers effectively respond to and ultimately withstand a cybersecurity attack. This training will also help establish a frameworkto help PHCs develop threat-specific playbooks to stramline incident response within their organizations.
