Please join the West Virginia Primary Care Association (WVPCA) for this two day interactive virtual session, participants will learn about key components of school-based health centers (SBHCs). Paula Fields, MSN, BSN, RN and Emily Baldi, MSW, from the School Based Health Alliance will share information about the seven core competencies for school-based health centers, as well as data from the SBHC Census to provide an overview of how SBHCs across the U.S. perform on each core competency. Participants will assess their SBHCs’ performance on each competency and work together to share strategies and create action plans for improvement.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify the seven core competencies for school-based health centers.
- Assess their SBHC' s performance to on each of the core competencies.
- Financing/IT and Analytics.
- Develop an SBHC action plan for improvement on core competencies.
TARGET AUDIENCE: This event is intended for Providers, Administration, Quality Leaders and School Based Health staff.
Technical Requirements: Since we will be using a virtual platform instead of face to face training, there is a technical requirement we want you to be aware of.
- Webcams: Please make sure you have a functioning webcam. We want the training to be as interactive as possible and the ability for the presenter to see you is very important.
