The West Virginia Primary Care Association (WVPCA) invites Community Health Center (CHC) staff to attend a three-part webinar series discussing 42 CFR Part 2. This series will be facilitiated by Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP and WVPCA staff.
This event is part of the 42 CFR Series which kicked off on Tuesday, January 15. Registration for the series is available here and closes on January 11 at 5:00 PM.
This webinar will include a series of case studies created from participant questions submitted as part of the webinar series. Potential topics include determining whether Part 2 applies to various models of providing substance use disorder services in health centers, revising consent and authorization forms for purposes of Part 2 compliance, and determining how Part 2 information can be disclosed to health information exchanges. - Distinguishing between HIPAA authorizations and Part 2 consents; and
- Identifying compliance work plan activities related to compliance with Part 2.
This webinar series is intended for Community Health Center (CHC) staff involved in medical records management, including, but not limited to: CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CIOs, CMOs, Behavioral Health and Quality Improvement. This series is not open to non-CHC staff.
