The West Virginia Primary Care Association (WVPCA), in conjunction with the HITEQ Center, invites you to attend a one-day workshop focusing on Healthcare Cybersecurity and Compliance, as well as Information Security policy and procedure development. This event will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at TC Energy Building, Room 1178, Charleston, WV.
This jam-packed day will focus on:
- Security Risk Assessments & Risk Management
- Information Security Best Practices & HIPAA
- Security Incident Response and Breach Notification
- Policies and Procedures: Templates, Development, and Best Practices
- Compliance/Privacy & Security Officers
HRSA has funded the HITEQ (Health Information and Technology, Evaluation and Quality) Center to support health centers in full optimization of their EHR/HIT systems for continuous, data driven quality improvement. The HITEQ Center is operated by a partnership of JSI and Westat.
