Health Centers

West Virginia's Community Health Centers (also known as Federally Qualified Health Centers/FQHCs) are community-based
and patient-directed organizations that provide access to comprehensive, integrated primary care to everyone – adults, children, homeless, uninsured, Medicaid, Medicare or private insurance.

West Virginia's 34 Community Health Center (CHC) Organizations serve 1 in 3 of the state's citizens in more than 460 locations across the state.

West Virginia CHCs serve as the safety net for our most vulnerable residents, providing integrated, comprehensive care to more than 543,000 patients.

The WVPCA is the largest organized primary care network in the state.
