FamilyCare in Madison Achieves NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Level 3 Status

Our congratulations go out to Martha Carter, CEO and FamilyCare HealthCenter in Madison, WV for their participation in the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) Physician Recognition Program and the achievement of PPC-PCMH Level 3 status.

Recognized in this award are FamilyCare staff members Ronald Chattin, DO; Jason Frazier, MD; and Holly Murriner, PAC.

The WVPCA received notification today from Marian Swinker, MD, Commissioner for Public Health, WV Department of Health and Human Resources regarding Health Advisory Number WV0060-12-01-26. This message, relating to contact management of a fatal probably meningococcal case, was directly distributed by the WV Bureau for Public Health to local health departments and professional associations for dissemination.
